Easy Pesto with Hidden Greens
A classic recipe with a special twist that's a wonderful addition to just about anything. Ingredients:
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or more to taste 3 scoops of greens superfood blend

Directions:
In a food processor, pulse the basil and pine nuts. Add in the garlic and parmesan cheese. Pulse again. Slowly add the oil and the Green Cricket Protein Blend. Pulse until creamy. Add additional seasoning of your choice.
Enjoy on pasta, bread, sandwiches, or pizza.
