Sweet French Toast with Cinnamon & Cricket Protein

Bet you didn't think cricket protein could taste so good, right? Well, The Red Cricket Protein Blend will definitely be the perfect match to that golden French Toast. Here's our take on a sweet start of the day. 

Ingredients

  • Your favorite sandwich bread (we choose gluten free!)
  • Eggs
  • Cinnamon 
  • Vanilla 
  • Raw Cricket Protein Powder 
  • Maple syrup (for sweetness) 
  • Pinch of salt 

Preparation 

Heat up a medium frying pan. While the pan is heating up, mix the eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, raw cricket protein, salt, and maple syrup in a bowl. Grease the pan with butter, coconut oil, or any oil of your choice. Place a sandwich slice in the egg mixture, cover thoroughly, and place on the pan. While on the pan, you can sprinkle a tad more cinnamon on the top if desired. Flip when slightly brown on one side and wait for the other side to cook evenly. 

Top with fruits, syrup, honey, nuts, nut butter, or more!
